Lock won't open

Try these first

  1. Check each dial sits exactly in line with the window. Being one click off is the most common cause.
  2. Clear any dirt or grit around the dials and the latch.
  3. Press the latch down gently while you press the open button. A packed bag can pull on the latch.
If the TSA keyhole has been turned
Airport security can open the lock with a TSA key. If the keyhole was left turned, the lock won't work properly. Turn it back with a pen tip until the slot points at the red dot.

Forgotten your code?

  1. We can't recover lock codes, but a TSA master key opens the lock.
  2. Find the TSA number printed on your lock, for example TSA007.
  3. Buy the master key that matches that number. These keys are sold online.
  4. Open the lock with the key, then set a new code.
